Helene Relief

The Storm:

When the warnings for Hurricane Helene hit American weather apps and news updates, no one could have imagined the level of damage that the states in its path would endure.  Homes, lives, whole communities completely washed away in a matter of hours.  Such incredible loss and widespread destruction can feel so daunting, not just for those impacted directly but for those who want to help but aren't sure how.  When we are unable to physically go and serve, as followers of Jesus Christ we have the added task of identifying groups in action that are not only good stewards of relief resources, but who align with our beliefs and values.
In an effort to support the critical work being done for those whose lives and families have been overturned in the storm, to spread both awareness of the need and hope that they are not forgotten, WayMaker Fabrics will be offering a special print dedicated to Disaster Relief. This print is designed and donated by Laura McCullough (@speakyoursoulpage) • Instagram photos and videos
Not only did Laura create this print, but she also creates faith-based designs for WayMaker Fabrics.

WayMaker Fabrics is donating 40% of every retail purchase to Hasidean's Code.

Hasidean's Code:

With the unprecedented devastation experienced in the wake of Hurricane Helene, many ministries and civilian organizations have stepped up to bridge the gaps between the hardest hit areas and the agencies offering relief.  One of the first groups to put boots on the ground in Western North Carolina was Hasidean’s Code, a Disaster Relief and Outreach ministry committed to integrity, honor, service, and above all faith.

Hasidean’s Code, in partnership with the Free Burma Rangers, has been working with local law enforcement and residents in the Asheville, Black Mountain and Burnsville region to deliver essential supplies, assist with rescue and recovery operations, perform welfare checks, locate missing individuals, and establish supply distribution bases with adequate access from both ground and air.  Shoulder to shoulder with other trusted organizations, and with your support, HC has had the honor to make a tangible difference in these communities.

Please continue to keep WNC, Tennessee, and now Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton in your thoughts and prayers, as well as the safety and success of all those working to bring hope to those impacted by these disasters.
