I’m Shelly Dally, the artist behind Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Designs. I’m a follower of Jesus, a wife to my husband Ben, and a homeschool mom to four adventurous boys who fill our days with laughter, curiosity, and creativity.
When I named my business, I chose “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” as a reflection of where it all begins, God as the ultimate Creator. My creativity is not something I take credit for, but a gift from Him, and my work is an offering back in response to His goodness and glory.
I find endless inspiration in the beauty of God’s creation, from blooming flowers and garden paths to the small, fascinating creatures my boys eagerly gather and admire. Whether it’s frogs, cicadas, or chickens in our backyard, I’m constantly reminded of the wonder and detail woven into the world around us. We’ve spent slow afternoons quietly watching a bird build her nest, and an even full of excitement discovering a hidden bunny nest tucked in the grass, filled with tiny new life. I’m drawn to bold, joyful colors and love capturing that sense of awe through surface pattern design and illustration.
My hope is that my work reflects even a small glimpse of the beauty, creativity, and joy of our Creator, the greatest Artist of all. It is truly an honor to create, and I’m so grateful to share this work with others.
