About WayMaker Fabrics
Hi, I’m Christina Anderson, founder of WayMaker Fabrics — an American-based digital fabric printing company.
We specialize in eco-friendly, water-based digital printing on high-quality American-milled fabrics with fast turnarounds and vibrant, long-lasting color.
How WayMaker Fabrics Began
WayMaker Fabrics began with a simple goal. To Glorify God with Every Fiber while creating beautiful, high-quality fabric that ships fast and is printed right here in the USA.
In 2018, while expecting our first child, I dusted off my old sewing machine and began exploring fabrics. I ordered mystery boxes, clearance bundles, and designer packs, but most of what arrived didn’t meet my expectations. The prints were plain, the colors dull, and the fabric quality low. That frustration sparked a passion to find digitally printed fabric that looked and felt premium with complex designs, bold color, and a soft hand feel.
I quickly discovered that most of the digital fabrics I loved were printed overseas. Waiting 4–6 months for my fabric to arrive meant my creative ideas lost momentum. It made me wonder, why isn’t there a faster, U.S.-based option?
Turning a Frustration into a Mission
By 2022, my husband Jeff and I began researching the fabric printing industry. We found that most small shops in the U.S. design locally but send production to Southeast Asia, leading to long delays, import tariffs, and inconsistent quality.
We decided to change that.
